Description:

1955 Chevrolet Nomad

The car was purchased 4 years ago at the Leake auction in Tulsa OK. It was fully restored frame off restoration no rust or patch panels floor pans are perfect it had a big block and turbo 400. We drove it home from the auction and started disassembling it. It got a brand new 430 hp LS3 and 4L60E from the Chevrolet dealership. Came with a 3 year warranty They called it Connect and Cruise. It was a package deal they offered, motor, computer, transmission and trans controller. The body and frame is still all original just changed frame mounts and redrilled holes for transmission cross member. It has AC, PS, 4 wheel power disc brakes. Ford 9" limited slip 3.50 gear. Front and rear sway bars, Bilstein shocks, tilt column with a smaller diameter steering wheel that is identical to the factory one. It has been to a tuner for optimum performance and transmission shift points and pressure have been optimized. It is an absolute pleasure to drive. It has power on command whether you're going stoplight to stoplight or cruising at highway speed. The upgrades to the suspension keeps it stable cruising 100mph and the the 4 wheel disc gives you plenty of stopping power. The interior is factory other than a Dakota Digital dash and power bucket seats and custom center console. Which also has ducting for blowing cold or warm air to the back seat. Custom sound system with a DVD,VCD.CD,MP4,MP3 player with AM/FM receiver. Also power antenna. The color i believe is a Seamist Green and Ivory. For some reason my camera makes it look more blue in the sunlight. But it is actually green. I would be happy to answer any questions.
