1966 Volkswagen Beetle - ClassicI have owned this Beetle for almost 25 years. Comes with many parts. Used to be driven by a neighbor of mine in the 80s. Stored indoors for the last 15 years or so. Had many other cars over the years and just never got around to restoring this one. Comes with two 1.6 VW motors. One motor was running several years ago and is partially disassembled, the other motor is frozen but is a mostly complete long block. Have the original transmission but it is disassembled into larger components because I was going to reseal the transmission. Has some body rust as seen in pictures. Will probably need a replacement drivers side heater channel. There is some pin holes in the rear luggage shelf and a couple holes in the floor pan but may only need to be patched. Engine compartment and front trunk are almost rust free. Left front fender is dented. Rear bumper needs to be straightened.
Appears to have the original glass all around, rear glass is removed but in great condition. Front windshield has a rock chip. Have two extra rear windows from later Beetles with rear defroster glass. Have one extra rear side window.
Comes with all of my Beetle parts stash. At least 2 starter motors, several generators and an alternator, 3 late 60/ early 70s oil air cleaners, several dual port intakes, 1 or 2 carburetors, cooling fans, oil cooler, several dog house cooling shrouds, multiple pieces of engine tin, replacement window seals, clutch cables, J tubes, ignition switches, fiberglass wide rear fenders, two different VW jacks, several tire irons, around 2 sets of hub caps etc. Message me for more info or pictures. Have transferable registration in my name.
Buyer is responsible for picking up the VW and all the Beetle parts described within 10 days after auction ends. There are alot of spare parts that will not all fit inside the car for transport so keep this in mind.If you can't pick it up in 10 days please don't bid.
