Late in the production run of 1973, Porsche started to install the more advanced Bosch K-jetronic (CIS) fuel injection system into the 911 models. Often referred to as 1973 1/2 these T models are actually the strongest T model ever built. The 2.4 liter develops 140hp and provides a very smooth yet powerful ride. This system replaced the mechanical fuel injection system found on the previous 911. Newer and stronger transmissions were added along with the displacement increasing to 2.4-liters
These cars have become quite collectable, because they offer the modern bulletproof Bosch injection in the preferred long hood body style.
