1951 Other Makes The Fromm Mobile

Listing this 1951 Fromm Mobile Go Kart. See all 84 photos below this description before bidding. This was built in 1951 by Carl Fromm out of West Bend Wisconsin. It was handed down to his daughter and stayed with her until recently. The story I got was, Mr. Fromm was a engineer for a farm equipment company and wanted to start his own company in building car like go karts. He designed and built this one, including the leaf spring and partially chromed out chassis and suspension, see photos. This one is number one of two that he ever built. From what I was told after he built the second one, he gave it to Frank Sinatra in hopes of kick starting the business. Unfortunately nothing ever came from it. Years later after Mr. Fromm's passing his daughter inherited this one and the son inherited the molds and building materials. It has been sitting on display in their home until recently. The motor still spins over, but it hasn't been started or ran for some time. The tires are holding air, and it does roll and steer easily when pushed. Not much has been done with it since it was built in 1951, so it is showing signs of age. See all 84 photos below for yourself as it is being listed as a non-running project, so parts may need cleaned, fixed, restored and or replaced, and there are blemishes, rust, pits, scratches, paint flaking etc., look at all 84 photos below! Please no 0% feedbackers, unless you contact me before bidding. There are84 extra pictures below this description, so we will let them do the talking, but please ask all questions before bidding.
