1982 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

Too many cars.Fifteen years ago I had 40 cars mostly European in a dry barn in Washington State. All ran and it was time consuming to keep up with them all.In two weeks I will be 87 and still have twelve cars in toto on both coasts. So I am attempting to get down to four. Therefore this posting. I also have a half dozen motorcycles. One a 1999 BMW GS is currently listed on eBay.This current item, I have had for about ten years and it has always run well. It has always been inside in a dry environment. It has a new battery. Since I have not started it since last summer, I would insist that all of the plugs be pulled and some oil be sprayed into each cylinder before starting.Two years ago I sold a 1974 SAAB Sonett, with only 44,000 miles but had not been run for two years. I told the buyer we had to put oil in each of the four cyclinders. One of the plugs because of the location needed a special wrench. While I was getting the wrench and the oil he tried to start it and ruined the engine.
