Just spent nearly $5600 at one of Hawaiis most reputable Porsche mechanics to get it running including:Remove old fuelFlush out fuel systemReplace Fuel pump and hosesReplace DME relayReplace starterRemove intake system and replace fuel hoses and fuel filterReplace spark plugsPaint and body:This vehicle has a Clean Carfax. Its a No hit car with all factory stickers in place. Vehicle will need a very good paint correction at the least. Seats need to be redone as well as carpets. Sunroof track is sticky because hasnt been used in over 4 years so kept it closed. passenger side window is off the track. All the rubbers in good shape and not dried out.As far as rust, only on the cowl under windshield which a lot of these cars usually have. also a small spot by driver side rear quarter window. rear engine grill was changed to a factory OEM one in dark blue as the original had an aftermarket spoiler on it.Chassis: Solid chassis, No hits. No rust. Brakes work good but since the car was sitting it may need to be sorted before being daily driver worthy(pads, fluid etc, ss lines etc). shocks and springs feel good and balanced on the street but the bushings could use an upgrade at this age. Also will need tires as they have been sitting.Powertrain:Engine Sounds strong and healthy. Shifts through the gears smoothly with no grinding.( see 3 videos on my youtube) Clutch holds strong and has plenty of life left. Engine doesnt leak oil underneath, but forward of engine has a small drip from looks to be from an oring in the cam seal area. Only modifications are G pipe, Cone filter intake and lowering sport springs. will come with factory silencer(where G pipe is installed)Last 3 pics are some over the years. everything else is current state. Hagerty condition #3 is at $112k and climbing. This car has huge investment potential. This car is very hard to let go. The only reason im selling is another investment opportunity came up and have another 964 coupe to keep. IMO, Long hoods are great, G bodys too.
