Fifteen years ago I had over forty classic and collectable cars.in a very large dry barn. Some needed restoration, but even maintaining them all took to much time. I am now down to ten. In two weeks I will be 87. So a few more treasures will have to depart, especially since I just moved to Massachusetts. This car has Oregon title but isEveb here in Massachusetts, on Cape Cod.The car spent almost all of its life in the Willamette valley of Oregon, where the weather is usually gently and little or no snow, and seldom was salt of the road necessary. Even so the car was very seldom driven in the winter. So no rust. The car has a new battery which had to match the original large one.The car is garaged and has not been started since last August much less driven on Massachusetts roads in the winter.Before I would start it, the plugs must be pulled and oil sprayed into each cylinder.Two years ago I sold a1973 SAAB Sonett. This car has been sitting in a dry garage for two years. I told the buyer that to br on the safe side we had to put oil in each of the four cylinders before starting. while I went to get my tools, he tried to start it and ruined an engine that had only 44,000 miles.
The 380 SL has all the factory options available when manufactured.
