A new battery was recently installed and this wagon starts right up with the turn of the key and does not produce any smoke. The motor sounds healthy with very little blow-by, and no leaks. The turbo spools up nicely, delivering plenty of power. It is a bit louder than normal due to a moderate exhaust leak. The odometer currently shows 340k miles; however, the engine was replaced roughly 100k miles ago.

The inside is clean, without any odors. Some of the plastic interior pieces are showing their age, which can only be expected. Some of the electric windows will need new motors/regulators, which is a common repair item. The central locks must be manually operated from the inside, but the vacuum system was recently serviced and is working correctly, including the ignition shut-off. The carpeting strip for the rear hatch is missing. The climate control with defrost works properly including the air conditioning, which was recently overhauled and recharged. The radio power antenna mast is missing. All of the gauges within the instrument cluster are reading correctly and all are within normal parameters, with the exception of the tachometer which is not reading.

This wagon was used for several decades for long distance family trips between Canada and Florida. The body shows evidence of rust repair in areas mainly around the water drainage ports, which are common places for corrosion to form on these W123’s. All four tires have plenty of tread. Comes with a clean Montreal, Canada registration/title that can be used for titling/registering it in the US with the new owner. This is an iconic Mercedes W123 wagon finished in an unusual and stunning color combination that is an absolute blast-from-the-past!
