This wagon starts with the turn of the key and the ultra-reliable 3.0L inline 5-cylinder turbodiesel engine sounds very healthy with minimal blow-by.The transmission shifts well through all the gears.The brakes, suspension and steering all feel solid.This wagon has just received a major comprehensive servicing including:

The inside is clean and smoke-free. All the electric windows raise and lower correctly. The vacuum operated door locks function correctly but are a bit sluggishto lock.The climate control functions as it should including the AC, which blows cool but could probably benefit from a recharge.The original Becker radio is included; however, is not connected/working.All of the gauges within the instrument cluster are reading correctly and all are within normal limits with no warning lights illuminated.

This wagon is very desirable and has been remarkably well-preserved. This 300TD comes complete with original factory Mercedes-Benz manuals and pamphlets from new.Overall, this is an iconic and rare Mercedes W123 wagon that is an absolute blast-from-the-past to drive!
