1965 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic
Here is a simple clean unmolested straight and rust free example of the iconic Volkswagen Beetle. This car has the original and perfectly smooth and operable hand crank sunroof. There are four new tires a new carburetor clean and undamaged front and rear seats nice blue interior door panels and rear quarter panels and the original radio (not connected). The original gas gauge is present but not wired to the gas tank. The carpets are terrific and without rips or tears. Both windows roll up and down without issue. The brakes are terrific and stop firmly and straight every single time. With the new carburetor there is a new throttle linkage. The linkage is a little stiff and subsequently causing the car to idle a little fast. It needs to be adjusted to save gas or you can drive it perfectly fine as it is. The car accelerates smoothly and cleanly and can cruise at freeway speeds (slow lane of course). The clutch take up is smooth and clean. The transmission shifts properly and without any grinding. The headlights taillights brake lights turn signals and license plate light all work perfectly. The driver side headlamp glass cover is cracked but this doesn't affect the performance of the light itself. It still shines brightly! The car has the normal nicks chips and marks that a 50 year old car will accumulate. Inside of the front trunk area there are signs of some type of body work that was competently completed to the driver side front fender area. Registration is paid and current until March 2016.
