You are looking at a great example of an unmolested beetle in stock condition and super clean. Car has been conserved in awesome shape and been serviced regularly.
Car had a major renovation between 2000-2005 by previous owner replacing many mechanical components. I have all the receipts for parts changed over the years since 2000. Recently I've just finished another light restoration including brand new paint in original L390 Gulf Blue color, new rubber all around from West Coast Metric and Wolfsburg West. Car is in excellent mechanical shape, it runs awesome and it's a blast to drive it around town with many compliments and thumbs up from other drivers.
Exterior:Car is 95% stock condition, as mentioned before it was repainted in the outside and inside (not the trunk area) in original L390 Gulf Blue. Brand new quality rubber all around, new outside/inside window scrapers with chrome moldings (german quality), quarter wings rubber, original window chrome moldings, original exterior side moldings, original rear bumper, high quality reproduction front bumper purchased back in 2000's but still in like new condition, sandblasted and powder coated rims, Michelin tires with 90% thread left, new running boards, original Hella headlights, Original Sekurit glass all around, brand new front windshield. In general exterior looks superb !!
Interior:Very stock interior too. Original dash components, OG radio, OG door panels, locking shift lock, brand new carpet, brand new rubber gray floor mats, brand new headliner (here is a little flaw in the headliner roof portion because did not reached all the way to the front in the passenger side but it is covered by the sun visors and not very noticeable).Seats upholstered years ago and still in great condition.
Electrical:All original electrical system, nothing has been modified ever.Radio, turn signals, speedometer, gas gauge, headlights, quarter and stop lights working.Speedometer currently has 7,000 miles and was replaced/fixed and set to zero when it was 4,000 (104,000). I have receipt for that.
Engine/Transmission/Suspension/Brakes:Car is in superb running condition. Engine with great compression and many years of use left. Transmission is great, all shifts working as it should with no whining or weird noises at all. Braking system has been bled and stops in a dime.Car has been serviced regularly over the years with many receipts to proof that.Suspension is also in great condition, in other words you need nothing to fix or replace, all it needs is a new driver to cruise around town.
Title:Clean California title and current 2017 registration.Black and yellow plates included for California buyers only, if you are an out of state/international buyer then car will be sold with regular white California set of plates.
This car is 95% rust free and very solid, the only place it may need some attention is the back of the driver side where the floor is not as solid as it should.
