Exterior: - Paint is original throughout, as confirmed with an elcometer. Paint shows extremely well. There are a handful of minor chips and scratches; please see the video accompanying the listing for close-ups of these blemishes in direct sunlight. - Wheels are in... excellent shape. Tires are new Uniroyal Tiger Paws. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. - Impact bumpers show no cracking, damage, or discoloring. - Pinstripes are intact and look good. - Panel fitment is excellent. - Black convertible top is in great shape. Car will also come with a black tonneau cover and a tan boot cover. - Weatherstripping is excellent throughout The Interior: - Tan houndstooth cloth looks fantastic against the brown exterior and black carpeting. Driver's seat has a few small tears, one on the inner seat bottom and one on the top of the seat back. Passenger seat does not show damage but is slightly saggy. - Powered systems are all functional. This includes the blower/heat, radio, lights/signals, wipers, and all gauges. - Odometer reads just shy of 24,700 and is functional. While documentation with the car is limited, overall condition and road-feel speak to the accuracy of the odometer reading. We don't doubt the sub-25k mile reading for a second. Under the Hood / Under the Car: - The 1492cc I4 is the original unit, #FM134966UCE. Car runs and drives very, very well. No tendencies or noises of concern. The car fires right up, idles cool and steady at 800rpm, accelerates nicely without any stuttering or hesitation, shifts smooth as could be, and the clutch feels great. Brakes are nice and effective, and the car tracks straight under both acceleration and braking. As it sits, this car is nicely sorted and ready to be enjoyed. - Please take a look at the underbody photos, as it is documented in detail. Underbody is excellent. This car has been garage-kept and it shows. There is no rust on the car; not on the body panels, in the trunk corners, or anywhere underneath. Not even surface rust, let alone through. This car is extremely dry. Buy with confidence, this car is ready to be driven and enjoyed. It looks, sounds, and feels great in every regard.
