Description:

1967 Ford Fairlane 500

Rust FREE!!!!!!!! 1967 ford fairlane 500 convertible project.289, 2 barrel with a c4 automatic.Power drum brakes.Power steering.Air conditioning.Pretty rare car.Less than 5500 fairlane 500 convertibles made.
Car has been stored in a garage since 1996.Still has the nox kit on it from back when it had to get smog checks.Have the pink slip, which is really pink, that's how old it is.
Recent brake job.Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hoses, shoes, and hardware replaced.
The engine runs but has a vacuum leak at the intake where it meets the heads.I sprayed sealer on it which helped, but did not seal it all the way.I planned on putting a different intake and a 4 barrel carb on,but plans change.
Needs a passenger window.Just the glass, the frame is still there.Needs a windshield as well.Needs a new convertable top and the bolt replaced on the passenger side top latch.needs body and paint.Passenger side is good.Drivers side has a few dents in the door and right behind the door. Some of the side trim is damaged, but there are replacement pieces sitting on the back seat in the pics.
The only rust the car had, was surface rust below the carpet and under the trunk mat.The last 3 pictures show how it was before it was wire wheeled and painted.
Car is a project.Needs a full restoration. This is hands down the best car to start with, that i have seen in a really long time.I have too many projects,so it has to go.I will also be listing a 1972 ranchero,302 c4 soon as well.
I am able to show the car in person afternoons and evenings.I can send more pics if requested.
This is a no reserve auction.Whatever the highest bid is gets the car.The buy it now is there so people will not ask me what it takes to end the auction early.
i am probably forgetting things, so ask me questions.I will respond as soon as i can.Do not ask the questions right before the auction ends, because i might not be able to answer in time.
A $500 deposit thru paypal is required within two days after auction ends. The rest via a cashiers check/money order or wire transfer.Unless you are local and pay with cash.
Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.I am available most days in the afternoons and evening to help load etc.
