1967 Ford Fairlane GTA

1967 Ford Fairlane Convertible with GTA trim. In the mid 60s the term full-size meant FULLsize and mid-sized meant not as big, and that's where the Ford Fairlane fit into the lineup. Not so big as to require a harbor pilot's license to guide it down the street but big enough to put a few friends in it and enjoy a drive-in movie. Not including those in the trunk. To spice things up the powers that be at Ford created the GTA trim package to compliment the sleek lines of the sheet metal which included a full console with floor shift and bucket seats. This one is powered by a venerable Ford 390 Big Block V-8 Engine and a Cruise-O-Matic transmission with console and floor shifter. This is one is a nicely optioned convertible with a manual top, power steering, front disc brakes and the right engine along with it being in a great color combination. The 390 runs smooth and has complete dual exhaust system. The top is in great shape and it goes down the road like you would expect it to. The floors do have a couple of minor patches in them but they are solid. This one is finished in Rangoon Red that compliments the black bucket seat interior that looks great. Features include the 390 V8 with 4V Carb, correct smooth shifting Cruise-O-Matic, working Factory AM Radio in the dash. Performance Tuned Exhaust Smooth and Effortless Power Steering. The newer White Vinyl Top with a crystal-clear glass rear window works great and the black bucket seat Interior with center console with brushed aluminum trim is in great shape. There is the white GTA full length lower body accent stripe. Safety Guard Padded Dash along with color keyed seat belts up front. The factory instrumentation works great, chrome and stainless are in good shape. There is the driver's side Chrome Rear View Mirror and Day Night Interior Rear View Optional 14 inch Styled Steel Chrome Wheels with newer Red Line Bias Ply tires. Correct two Spoke Steering Wheel, the trunk is detailed along with original Trunk Mat and Spare with jack We sell a lot of Mustangs, but rarely see a Fairlane like this, especially in this kind of shape
