1969 Dodge Coronet R/T

Rare! Only 317 R/T automatic convertibles were made total. This is one of the most desirable ones to exist considering colors, loaded with options and condition. It is #s matching and has original trim tag. 2 owner car most of it's life. We acquired it from a very fussy Mopar collector. Believed to have 52,000 original miles and original clean metal.
EXTERIOR: Stunning. Factory F6 red car and the fit and finish is excellent. Claimed to have all original metal. The body is laser straight from every angle. Every panel has perfect gaps. Doors shut like new. Jambs are painted nice, the lip at the bottom of the door is dry. Weatherstrips, latches and sill plates are clean. The paint on this car is polished smooth and glossy right down to the bottom. The white bumblebee stripe really pops. Upfront the bumper is rechromed, the grill is in very good condition. It does have the optional turn signal indicators on top of each fender. The trim on the hood scoop is excellent, has the original antenna. The stainless all around the windshield has been polished. Dual mirrors, stainless on each door and handles are very good original. The optional chrome louver trim on each quarter panel is in excellent shape. In back the bumper is rechromed, the tail panel is very good original. The white top is power and looks new. Has correct Mopar grain material and a glass window.
INTERIOR: Very nice, unabused interior. It has some unique features including the buddy armrest, am 8-track and cruise control. The bucket seats are reupholstered. The buddy armrest folds up for a 3rd passenger or makes a comfy armrest. The headrests are like new, the backseat is excellent original. The side panels, plastic trim, armrests and dash area are all very good. The interior lights work front, back and in the glove box. The carpet has been replaced and it has R/T embroidered floor. Mirror and visors are excellent. The condition of this interior helps indicate the miles are accurate.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show quality motor compartment restored to factory specs. Everything looks tidy and proper. The engine bay is clean metal with no signs of rust or damage, painted red. Has matching hidden vin on core support and original fender tag is still attached. Has VIN number matching 440 Magnum motor. Claimed to have only 1,000 miles on a complete rebuild. The ignition system looks stock and fres, has correct Mopar spark plug wires. New alternator and a Mopar battery. Factory features include functional air conditioning system, the compressor looks new. It also features power steering, power brakes and cruise control. Has a correct Mopar radiator complete with the shroud, reproduction hoses and clamps.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Completely solid original metal trunk compartment. Trunk floor is original with just minor pitting and it's been repainted red. I looked up inside the rear quarters and I don't see any splices or seams, they appear to be original. The rubber mat is new. It does have a redline tire for a spare. Jack assembly is properly installed. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted real nice, the weather strip is new.
UNDERSIDE: Appears to be completely solid original metal under this car. Clean floors, frame rails, rockers and lower inner 1/4s. Has it's factory sound deadening undercoat. The front end has been rebuilt, I can see many new components. The bottom of the motor is clean. The VIN number is stamped right above the oil pan on the engine that matches the car. The casting codes and dates are correct. The starter looks recent. 727 Torqueflite automatic trans. We were told it has just a few hundred miles on a rebuild. We were told it has 3.55 sure grip rear that was rebuilt just a few hundred miles ago. The exhaust is excellent, has a crossover pipe, Flowmaster mufflers and the correct chrome tips. It has disc brakes in front, calipers and hoses look recent. The e-brake cables are hooked up. Overall very presentable looking. The gas tank is clean, rear springs are painted, the rear end is painted.
This R/T checks many boxes. It is rare, desirable, sharp and exceptionally nice. It is an investment grade car you will enjoy!
