1966 Volkswagen Type III Squareback
Runs and Drives Amazing, paint is near perfect. All windows are clean and clear. This is a real pride of ownership vehicle. Please ask questions and I will do my best to answer.Amazing 1 family owned. Purchased at Bozzani Monrivia Ca. Grandma drove it til 1980s Her son got it drove it til grandson had fender bender and insurance company salvaged. Son had car repaired and repainted original and did alot of restoration,new headliner and all new sunroof parts. Door Panels seats etc. New shocks brakes etc. Engine appears low mileage and no engine oil leaks. It sat in garage 5 or 6 years til he passed and his daughter got car. That's where I come in got car and finished putting it back together new lights, I cleaned out fuel system new hoses and filters . Put some new tires with new quality hubcaps and beauty rings. New battery and it runs amazing. Steers and Stops as it should. This really is an original nice car. I hate to sell but have too many vehicles. Has a few issues that should be easy fix. Swing axle boots are leaking and need replacement interior cargo light not working. Blinkers intermittent and radio not working. Ask Questions one more important thing. Tags were not paid since 2020 if you an out of state buyer that means nothing I have clean salvage california title. But for Califirnia drivers to keep black and yellow plates all fees would need to be paid. Or if you don't want to keep plates I can bypass back fees and register into my name and back to you. All past due fees will go away but they will make you get new plates
