1968 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

This beautiful 1968 Karmann Ghia coupe is a strong runner that has been completely disassembled down to the last bolt in a off the pan restoration back in 2008, with 15k mileage on it since restoration.

Virtually every part of this vehicle has been replaced with new or rebuilt original part, from every single bolt to the brand new floor pan, transmission, breaks and break lines, fireproofing, carpeting, rebuilt German made carburetor, dual port long block engine built by Ontario Brothers, and many other parts.

This vehicle comes with a photo album detailing the complete restoration process

The original vintage interior Seat upholstery is nice and clean.

The original grey carpet and black doorpanels are in good condition.

The rear seat is in great shape and folds up for proper storage and to increase the seating area.

The original Dash top is in excellent condition with no cracks.

The ghia comes equipped with a set of speakers, but the cd player might need to be replaced.

The 70's style seat belts are in great shape.

The Headliner is original, it is in great shape with no rips, stains or tears.

The 8 year old off-white paint job has lightly faded over the years and a few imperfections (please see the pictures at the bottom), but is in very good overall condition and still shines bright.

The headlights are fully functioning and so are the backlights, whipers, speedometer, gasgauge, turning signals.

The original 60's off white steering wheel has a few small cracks which can be seen on the pictures, but otherwise is still in very good shape.

This Karmann Ghia is in excellent running condition, the 1600cc long block engine built by Ontario Brothers was installed brand new, it runs strong, and easily reaches 75mph on the highway.

It starts right up every time and idles good.

The floor pans have no rust and are in great shape.

Engine bay is clean and in good condition. Brakes and Transmission work good as well.

The whitewalls were newly added to the chromed wheels to add to the classic and sporty look.

The engine decklid sports all VW Karmann Ghia scripts.

The original bumpers are in outstanding condition, with shiny chrome and virtually no imperfections.

The odometer reading may not reflect the actual mileage.

This 1968 Karmann Ghia Coupe is a nice dependable, clean daily driver.
