1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
This desert beauty is well preserved. Dusty and dirty. Never wrecked. I purchased this car from a AAA tow yard. Brakes and hand brake work well. Car steers tight and rolls smooth as glass. The engine turns over and the transmission goes into all gears. I have not taken the time to start it. This would be a fantastic car to restore. I have keys and a clear Arizona title. There is no rust or corrosion where the battery sat for 48 years (see photo). There is only minor rust at the bottom of the doors probably due to worn out window rubber seals and at the bottom lip of the passenger side front fender that looks like it collects water. Everything else looks like normal surface rust for a 48 year old car. There are dents and creases along sides and hoods but if you are looking to restore one of these cars I don't think you will find a much better one to start with. The original color is a baby/sky blue and it has been repainted dark green.? Questions? Message me. Car is in Boulder City, NV.
