1980 Triumph Spitfire

I am selling this car as is.I purchased this car from Katz ClassicLLC (on eBay) to restore it, but as life goes on, this is where I stop working on it.I did not have time to work on it and now I just want to sellit. I have driven the car about 1500 miles since I have purchased it in 2010 (drove it for about 500 miles after the paint job and new interior.I want somebody to finish the restoration and enjoy the car.

The car has been kept in garage all the time I have owned it.It has a new paint job to match the original blue paint (though the hood was not original to the car, because somebody stole the hood before my purchase and Bill Katz replaced the hood before I bought it). Windshield was re-installed with new rubber gasket.Engine & transmission appears to be original to the car and runs good for a car of this age. Shift gearssmoothly.The interior glove box is in the trunk along with someother pieces of trim and parts. The car is drivable and was license forthe road for a while.

It has new tires, front and rear brakes, front rotors, front springs, new shock absorbers all around, new 2-barrel Weber carburetor, new electric fuel pump,new aluminum radiator w/2 fans, new trunk lock w/key, fuel tank gage sending unit, new wind shield washer pump, new starter.

Battery was bought 09/2019, and has been kept charged while in storage

The interior seats, door panels, flooring were re-upholstered with a kit from Victoria British LTD.

Here are some major things that still need to be done on the car as follows:

1. Install the new radio that has integral speaker, w/Bluetooth capability for phone or speakers.Car is pre-wired for new speakers but none are installed.

2.The existing convertible roof is not installed yet. Needs new roof canvas to replace existing.

3.New Door handles and door keys have been purchased but not installed yet.

4.Have new seat belts but they are not installed.

5.Needs driver side mirror.

6.Needs new horn.

There may be some spare parts that buyer can have with the car such as: 2-barrel sidedraft carburetor and manifold, original Stromberg carburetor and manifold,original radiator.
