This 1980 BJ40 is imported from Costa Rica and is Currently titled and registered in Maryland. I can include all import documents, if desired.

Drive

- 3.0 liter Diesel B engine

- clutch was refurbished in may 2020 before importing

- gear box bearings were replaced in 2020

- oil and differential fluid was changed in may 2020

Modifications

- Original 4 speed transmission replaced with a toyota H55F 5 speed transmission

- safari rack and ladder were added and painted in 2020.

- Gray padded vinyl dash board and console above and below windshield, top console includes an aftermarket CD player stereo, speakers and storage compartments.

- The entire body was painted orange under previous ownership reportedly from red.

- There are a few small rust spots which I will include photos of

- The instrument panel is in km/h, the 5 digit odometer reads 44k km (27k miles) but it is broken and does not change. Since it was purchased its estimated to have been driven about 1500 Km but actual mileage is unknown.

This is a fun car to drive and show off, you will for sure see people rubber necking and taking photos of this guy, all this and nostalgia are included in the sale price.
