If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont
bid on it. SHOWS about 123k on the odometer, and could be
original. Its been parked many yrs.
FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback
on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This Az car is very solid and has been in Az, the dry desert climate
as far back as we can track. Ive also been under it too, and you
wont find any rot (like your eastcoast or coastal cars) It barely has
minor surface rust. Paint on the outside looks be the original Alpine
White. It shows well for its age, but over the yrs has some flaws.
Most much easier to see up close. But check out the video link too.
I may ad ANOTHER PART 2 vid this week.
Less then 50 miles ago, we had a new water pump and Timing
belt installed, so you have that peace of mind.
Interior has had some updating too, but much more on that below.

DRIVETRAIN: under the hood looks to be the original 2.4
EFI 4 cyl. Behind that is a nice smooth shifting 5 spd trans.
Clutch feels good, the motor pulls fine and sounds good.
Nice un-molested stock set up under the hood. I notice the
more I drive this car, the better it runs. A new fuel pump was
also installed and we had the injectors cleaned too a few months
ago due to the car sitting for several months. Gas tank was cleaned
out too and seems ok. When its cold, sometimes it takes a few
times of cranking for it to start, not sure why, but it no way effects
the drivability of the car. One other thing to mention, sometimes
when cold one of the outter V belts squeals for about 6 seconds
then goes quite. My guess is the stretched enough to where it
cant get as snug as it should be. When they did the t-belt I wish
the shop would of told me about this and I would of just had them
install a new belt, but whats done is done, but just so you know.

INTERIOR: take a look at pics its fairly complete, but the last
owner did a few mods, IE: aftermarket steering wheel / shift knob
and some Glowgauges in the cluster. Those arent even correct.
My guess is you could just remove them and the original stuff
should all be under there still. Some good news is that both front
seats where just redone a few months ago in a matching tasteful
2 tone cloth / leatherette material. PWs both work which is nice.
It has the typical non opening hatch issue Ive not messed with and
you can see in the pics, that carpet back there looks a little aged.
Usable, but old looking. Sunroof works too. Doors close nice and
solid. Dash has some cracks you would expect from an Az car.
Aftermarket CD player works and sounds ok. Also on the dash the
last owner installed a digital Volt meter. It works fine at least.

EXTERIOR:you are looking a very straight body, only with
some minor damage from over the yrs. No signs of any past
repairs or bondo at least. Headlights go up and down fine, BUT
again, the last owner installed some cheap replacement units
and they SUCK. So I nice set of Hellas are prob destined for its
future. Tails etc all seem to work fine.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks good and feels okay when
Im driving it. I noticed some Bilstein Struts up front and White
KYB Gas in the rear seem to be working great. The brakes feel
the way Porsche meant them to, nothing bad to report there.
TIRES ARE WAY OLD and need to be replaced soon !!!
Drives okay even with old tires, but that will improve 100%
with a new set of your choice.
The 17" Staggered period correct ROH Wheels are a plus.

months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.

Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
