Real 1970 “242” VIN GTO, 455 Pontiac motor, 4 speed Muncie close ratio, & 12 bolt posi/limited slip rear end with 3:90 gear, built as a tribute to the 17 1970 Judges built with the 455 HO motor late in the 1970 model production run.

HISTORY. I purchased this car 13 years ago in great condition and it’s a very nice GTO & I’ve put less than 2,700 miles on it since purchasing it - ONLY reason I am selling is I just purchased a beautiful triple white 1971 Pontiac GTO convertible 455HO car and I am out of garage space. This GTO always garage kept .I am a life-long Pontiac fanatic ! I am NOT a dealer – just a small time personal collector and I hate to let this car go !! I have the PHS (Pontiac Historical Society) paperwork on this car – originally a 400 engine, 4 speed, atoll blue GTO, but converted to 455 & 12 bolt GTO prior to my purchase.

Engine is very strong and runs well – 1974 455 “YY” code block (I have a “WA” decal on the block as a tribute to the 1970 GTO 455 HO block code) with 1975 “5C” code heads, & Edelbrock Torker high rise aluminum intake with a ½ inch carb spacer & 800 cfm Quadrajet carb; Great ACCEL performance Electronic Ignition Distributor with an MSD Rev Limiter. 4 speed Muncie close ratio transmission & Hurst shifter are tight and shift sweet ! Rear End is a 12 bolt (correct for a 455 GTO) with posi/limited slip and stout 3:90 ratio gears and grabs hard ! I believe that Engine, Transmission & Rear End must have been rebuilt not too long before I bought the GTO as they are all tight, very strong, & run well. Manual Drum Brakes; Power Steering (I installed a new close ratio power steering gear box shortly after purchasing); Fuel guage, Speedometer, & Heater work. Interior is in great condition;aftermarket radio not currently working, but modern speakers in the dash and rear package tray are fine. Car runs great on 93 octane. Odometer reading is 10,996 which I am sure has rolled over – I’ve only driven the car about 2,700 miles in 13 years (Odometer reading 08,296 to 10,996);

MY IMPROVEMENTS: September 2019 – PAINT & BODY Restoration – Professional Paint Job on a very solid & sound body – 1970 Pontiac Polar White paint color – front endura nose was taken off the car so it could be painted correctly - many NEW parts added or replaced including but not limited to: Front & Rear Coil Springs & Shocks; upper Rear End Control Arms; Rear End Gear box serviced; complete operating Ram Air system (called “Air Inlet HO” system on 455HO engined Judge invoices); new Hood Tach; “THE JUDGE” glove box emblem; new rubber Seals for trunk, doors, windows, hood; door handles; exterior Rear View Mirror; Door & Trunk Locks; correct “T3” headlights and chrome bezels; polished Rocker Arm covers; Hood Hinges & Hood Latch assembly; Formula Steering Wheel (horn contact inside needs adjustment); Hurst T shifter handle; Rear Bumper; new exteriior turn signal & lighting lenses; “WT7 Option” - black Rear Spoiler, Hood Scoops, black front spoiler, & Judge decals (black/yellow/red); new 15x7 inch Rally II wheels, center caps, lug nuts, & correct Coker Firestone Wide O Oval GR7015 rwl radial tires; new blue “THE JUDGE” logo rubber floor mats & “THE JUDGE” logo carpet floor mats (see photos); I HAVE PUT LESS THAN 500 MILES ON THE CAR SINCE THEN;

2020 – NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM - new Ram Air Exhaust Manifolds with 2.5 inch outlets; complete PYPES 2.5 inch stainless exhaust system w chrome Exhaust Tips; 2.5 inch Electric Exhaust Cut-Outs – that are connected to a Pontiac Factory Style “VOE” control knob next to the “Ram Air” control knob (see the photo below) that sound REALLYYYYYYY cool when opened up !!!!

2021 – ENGINE COMPARTMENT – engine cleaned and painted correct 1970 Pontiac metallic blue; new Quadrajet 800 cfm JET Streetmaster Stage 2 carburetor w Electric Choke, new Fuel Pump and pump to carb Fuel Line & in-line Fuel Filter; new “Be Cool” direct fit Aluminum Radiator, with 6 blade Ram Air high flow fan, 160 degree thermostat, and new Radiator & Heater hoses; new Vacuum Hoses; new Windshield Wiper motor; washer liquid reservoir; new engine compartment Decals; new Battery & correct Battery Topper; new Starter & Positive & Negative Battery Cables; new Ground Strap kit; new one-wire Alternator; Spark Plugs & Taylor Spark Plug Wire set;

2022 – new driver side Exhaust Shield with Vent Hose connected to Ram Air pan (correct for a 1970 GTO 455 engined Judge); new Auto Meter Water Temp & Oil Pressure Gauges; new factory correct spark plug Wire Holders; new interior Rear Shelf Package Tray; new Trunk splatter paint, Trunk Mat, Spare Tire Cover, & backing board for rear seat;

SPARE PARTS: (see photos below) nice pair of 1970 455 HO heads (correct GTO #64 heads) come with the car – for anyone that wants to go further making it a correct 455 HO engine JUDGE tribute; new In-Dash Clock (there is an in-dash Sun Tachometer currently in the clock spot & I just never got around to replacing it with the new Clock; current seat covers are in great shape but are correct for a 1969 GTO – I prefer that pattern so I never ordered the correct 1970 seat covers (if you want the correct ’70 seat covers they run about $700/set from OPG, Ames, etc.);

INSPECTIONS. Inspections are welcomed as long as they occur BEFORE the close of the auction or purchase. Any Serious Bidder can buy their own inspection and I will work with the inspector to schedule an inspection. No inspections after the close of auction or the purchase. This vehicle is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time prior to the “Reserve” being met.

“AS-IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY. I have tried to describe this vehicle as fairly as possible. However, the vehicle is sold “As-Is” and Without Warranty, other than warranty of good title to the car.

PAYMENT. A non-refundable deposit of $2,500.00 via PAYPAL or Wire Transfer is required within 24 hours of the Auction end/termination. Full Balance due within 15 days of Auction end/termination.
