I have a Judge stripe kit for the car but have not installed them in case someone wants the car without Judge stripes installed. I purchased this car 15 years ago when my son was 14 years old it was hit in the left front corner and as a result has a rebuilt title. We fixed it up for him to drive using the original doors and used GTO fenders that were kind of rough, He made it through high school with no accidents so 11 years ago we put rust free doors and new repro fenders on it and had new quarter panels installed so you shouldn't have to worry about any rust issues with the car. It was painted at that time. He entered the Marines at age 19 a year out of high school. The car made the trip to Jacksonville North Carolina about a 12 hour drive 8 times over the next 4.5 years without any problems. When he got out of the Marines he traded the car to me for a 2005 GTO I had. This conv has just been sitting around here being driven less than 10 times a year for the last 4 years until I decided to do some work on it to freshen it up and sell it, The paint had some scratches and small door dings so I had it repainted. The trunk has an amateur repair where they laid metal over the trunk floor and riveted it in as a repair so I assume some amount of rust is under the repair, There is a crack in the 4spd console and a crack on the console lid, the temperature gauge in the dash is inoperative but it has an underdash temp guage working, otherwise the car is in very good shape. It has the original numbers matching 400 block, it has cast 16 heads with a quadrajet off of a 71 400 engine in it. The car starts and runs well, shifts fine and goes down the road straight. Why no chrome on the car, well that is the way my son wanted it. The car started out life as a Lemans 400 sport convertible with an automatic. When we bought the car there was paperwork in the glovebox with receipts showing and engine had been rebuilt. We have put approximately 30,000 miles on the car in the last 15 years, odometer is showing 104K miles. Low reserve.Vehicle Details:
