Who is the Seller?
I am not a used car dealer. Just a regular car guy who worked hard to bring an American Classic icon back to life. So, I will do my best to describe the car the most honest way possible, no need tosugar coated, so rather be an honest seller than a professional used car dealer. No old car is 100% even they never talk about the small issues. No classic car is 100% unless was restored by Year One or other restoration companies which as $120K for the car. Not this one. I ask half of what they do since is not fully restored. I just sell it as a good, clean & solid used car. Still needs some work, yes, it does. So get ready to spend some more time to make it a better and perfect classic car. I have more than 10 positive feedbacks from my other sold classic cars. You can find them from my feedback history. Here are few of them.
"Probably the best experience I’ve ever had on eBay. The car I purchased was EXACTLY how seller described. Communication was easy from start to finish. Seller sold me my dream car in dream fashion. Thank you seller."

1978 Chevrolet C-10 (#154144294966)
Why do I say 60% restored? The engine, transmission, and frontsuspension were not restored since they were in a decent condition.
Engine
The Engine is a factory 403 6.6L with 189 HP. Due to the California smog regulations, the engine power was reduced. The same engine can be added 100 HP with few modifications such as larger camshaft. Lots of new parts are installed on the engine such as alternator, starter, sparkplugs, wires, clutch fan and the belts.Never rebuilt the engine. Fixed few oil leaks. Still has a very small leak from oil pan. So small which is hard to see where it comes from. Runs well, but still a turnup will make it faster. Again, only has factory 189 hp engine, so will not burn out the tires.
Transmission
the original Factory 350, 3 speed automatic tranny. Runs and shift very well. No leaks. Still will run for years.
Suspension
No need to be redone. Runs straight without any issues.
Let me tell you all good things about the car
Most important thing. A solid California rust free car. You can open any bolt, anywhere without any issues. No rush anywhere.
There was a rust spot on driver side front floor due the T-top leaked which was fixed by the body shop. No rust was found anywhere else on the floors or the body. Totally solid pans and panels. The only panel was fixed and bonded is the driver side rear quarter panel. A dent which was easy to fix. Nowhere else on the body needs to be fixed. Solid straight body. The pictures are not photoshopped. Actual images.
Interior
TheInterior is80% new. Here are the new parts was installed.
New Carpet, Seat Covers, Center Console, Headliner, Back window shelf, Door Panels, Dash Cap cover, Shift plate, Shift knob. Door handle caps. Emblems.
and new floor mates.
Gaugesare all working except the gas one. I am still working on to get it done.
The original Radio is working. 2 brand new speakers are installed in the back.
Thestarring column has a small tilt. Looks like is a common issue with older GM models. Never had a chance to fix it. Not a big issue. Just would be nicer to have it fixed. Power locks are working. Driver side manual control is working. The Cruise control is not working. The system is there, but not sure how to make it work. I guess is getting old after 43 years.
Some more New Parts
New Snowflake Wheels and Tires
New Headers and Exhaust system
New Muffler tips
New Paint (Not a $10K paint job but very shiny)
New Decals
New Headlights
New Exterior Door Handles
New Door Locks
Might be more new parts which I forgot about them.
I only have one T-Top bag. Missing one.
Again, this is a solid, clean use car. I have done my best to make it a show car. Still needs some work to be 100%.
Not a daily drive car. I would keep it in the garage and enjoy it on weekends.
Cannot register it in CA since needs the smog certificate. I took off the smog pump and changed the exhaust system. There is no way to pass the song in CA. It would be ideal for out of state buyers.
You can facetime live call with me any time after 5pm weekdays. Or weekends 8am-9pm PST,
Ask me any additional questions or pictures. I would be glad to help you see what you are buying online if you are not able to travel to see the car/
If you wish to fly here to see the car, I would be happy to pick you up from Burbank airport. Again, weekdays after 4pm. Weekends whole day. It is 20 mins driver to my home. from airport. Be glad to driver you back to the airport also even you do not buy the car.
