SEE ALL 100+ PHOTOS BELOW! Selling my beautiful 1958 Plymouth Fury that was frame off restored around 16 years ago & has 16,500 miles since. Car started as a 1957 Belvedere & was professionally restored to produce a 1958 Plymouth Fury In Red & White. I hate to sell her but I recently became disabled due to my diabetes & my wife is fighting stage 5 kidney disease This car is drop dead stunning but after 16 years is needing some TLC such as a rebuilt transmission & a small spot of rust at the bottom of the right rear quarter that will need repaired. I removed the transmission to have it rebuilt & was going to have the rust spot repaired but became disabled soon after. Also the bumper wings & air cleaners are no longer with the car as I sold them a year ago to pay bills in an attempt to be able to keep the car. The car has sat the last year with me unable to physically work on it, afford to fix it or enjoy it. It needs to go to a good home & be back on the street. If you crave attention there is not a better car on the planet. I have parked this next to Riddler contenders at Goodguys Nats & draw a crowd around it 20 to 1. By far the meanest, baddest & most beautiful car built in the 1950s it blows peoples minds as 80% alive today have never even seen one in person. So besides the obvious Christine crowd you get everyone mesmerized who have never seen one before as they realize how much sweeter these are then the 55-57 Chevys they have seen 1,000s of. Not to mention as you drive down the street all you will hear is people yelling "Christine!" Car has all the Fury stuff like 2x4s, 150mph Speedo, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Dual Exhaust, Fury Badges etc INTERIOR - A TON of money (well over 15k) has been put into this show winning interior. Has all the Chrome Inside Pillar, Door & Roof Trim, Chrome Heater Rings, Chrome Speaker Ring & the front Dash Molding Has even Been Chromed! Also has a Chrome Steering Shaft Cover, Deluxe Power Steering Wheel, Rare Back Seat Forward Look Emblem & Beautiful Rare Original Cardboard Headliner. Carpet is ok but could use being replaced. AM Radio has been professionally converted to AM/FM DRIVETRAIN - 440 Magnum with 2 four barrels & Pushbutton TorqueFlite. The transmission was taking about 5-10 mins to engage & I pulled it out of the car to just have it rebuilt which as mentioned I never got done. The engine has always run very strong & I would some nights put 100+ miles on her just cruising around downtown Columbus is stop & go traffic without missing a beat or getting hot. It did leak some oil & power steering fluid. The power steering pump could use a rebuild. BODY - Frame, Floors, Trunk Are All Rock Solid. The thing that will someday need addressed is the rust spot & bubbles in front of right rear wheel well. Its really not to noticeable unless you get down low under car. Show quality paint job still looks beautiful as you see in the photos. Has a few typical scratches or chips from being 16 years old. Most all the Chrome & Stainless is in very good condition. A few pieces could use rechromed mainly the rear driver side back seat window frame. Car also Comes with 2 brand new Wide White Radial Tires to replace the rears NOTE - AS MENTIONED THE CAR NO LONGER HAS THE BUMPER WINGS OR AIR CLEANERS - THE NEWEST PHOTOS SHOW THE CAR WITHOUT THEM AS IT IS NOW Also The Lake Pipes are really hooked up to the car & are loud sounding & fun. My plan was to take them off during the tranny removal but thats up to you. In some photos the drivers side lake pipe is hanging down simply because I took the hanger bolt out when pulling the tranny & will bolt back up just fine. Car is titled as a 57 Plymouth & is a good clear Ohio Title If you saw the car that just sold for 50K+ that was no where near as nice as this one with a horrible interior I think I have mine fairly priced but make offers. Look at the other recent sellers for 10K+ needing total 100% restoration & missing 1/2 the needed parts. It would take you years of searching & a lot more then 59K just to get to the level of this one.
