Description:

1957 Plymouth Belvedere chrome

Up for bid is a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere resto-mod. This is NOT a restored original car, it has had minor modifications to make it drive and look better than they did when new. I have owned this car since Sept. 2008. It was 95% finished when I bought it. I did a lot of finishing touches as well as added quite a few NOS pieces to the car. It has a 413 ci 4 bbl engine with a torqueflite auto trans. The engine and trans are from a later model Mopar, hence it currently has a floor shifter. It has 68 Roadrunner disc brakes and rear end. The car is very straight, the paint is at least 11 years old and still looks great. They are not the factory colors. Bumpers have been rechromed. It has Coker Classic radial wide whites on it. This car was a pretty solid car to start with. The underside has been repaired with a few small steel panels and the previous owner did a nice job. This car is a great driver, I've driven it to out-of-state events without any trouble. The front windshield does have a few wiper marks on the passenger side, not an issue for the driver. The car currently has a NOS "Mayflower" emblem in the middle of the front grille. Purchaser may up the final sales price by $800 for an Excellent 58 style "V" for the grille if he wishes to do so. I'm hoping to break even with the car. Reserve is much lower than what it would take to restore a rust-bucket project car. PLEASE, only bid if you have the funds and truly want to purchase the car. $1000 deposit upon end of auction, with the remainder due before the car leaves my property. Buyer to arrange shipping. There is no warranty on this car, purchase price is as is, where is. International bidders welcome.
