1973 Triumph GT6
Last year of the Triumph GT6. This car sat buried in a garage for well over 30 years. It has just over 10,000 ORIGINAL miles and has factory OVERDRIVE. It retains mostly original paint (firewall and frame in engine compartment have been repainted). Interior is almost all original except for front carpets. Engine was stuck; found frozen starter and a couple of sticky valves and rings. Cylinders had a clean up hone and new rings. Valves freed, cleaned up and reseated. New plugs, coolant hoses and fan belt installed (original was petrified). Engine was detailed and reinstalled after painting the firewall and frame. Hydraulics have been refreshed - gas tank cleaned, new gas line, flywheel resurfaced and new clutch ki, master and slave cylinder installed. New exhaust. Radiator flushed and painted. Front suspension was refreshed; new ball joints, tie rods and bushings as original rubber and plastic were degraded. Brakes gone thru; new master, booster, pads, shoes, rubber lines etc…Still had original Goodyear correct date coded tires mounted and 3 of 4 held air - new tires installed and wheels refinished. Original parts removed including tires (except clutch) have been retained. Much more….
