This 1937 Lincoln-Zephyr coupe was extensively customized during previous ownership, including having its top chopped before its steel bodywork was refinished in candy apple red. The car has also been fitted with fully independent, air-ride suspension in addition to four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights, dual batteries, custom running boards, and rear-hinged doors. Power comes from a 383ci Vortec stroker V8 equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and backed by a TH350automatic transmission. The interior is upholstered in two-tone black and tan and incorporates bucket seats, a tilt steering column, Vintage Air climate control, a custom stereo system, and much more as outlined in the listing below. Since acquiring the car two years ago, the seller has replaced theair-ride system, installed a push-button starter switch, fabricated a new interior center console, replaced the shifter, andadded 15″ artillery-style wheels. This Lincoln-Zephyr custom is now offered with a car cover with a clean California title in the seller’s name. Introduced for the 1936 model year, the Lincoln-Zephyr line was intended to bridge the gap between Ford’s DeLuxe models and the Lincoln Model K. This ’37 coupe has been modified with a 4″ roof chop, frenched rear license plate, rear-hinged doors with electric door poppers, and bi-xenon headlights. The seller notes that the exterior is finished in Shimrin Apple Red Kandy from House of Kolor. Additional exterior features include LED taillights, rear fender skirts, custom running boards with integrated exhaust outlets, and sideview mirrors from Billet Specialties. Dual Optima batteries are mounted in the trunk as shown in the gallery, and the car has also been fitted with a 14-gallon fuel tank. Note that the bumpers and hood ornament have been deleted.
