Vehicle Original VIN : 541407171937 Ford Coupe this 37 Ford coupe has all original V-8 60 is described as a real-deal barn find that was found first in 1996 in a barn in the Midwest. It was purchased by a local Ford dealer, then moved to a barn in Ohio where it sat on jack stands until October of 2016 after finally reaching agreements with the next collector the car was purchased then finally, was treated to a professional mild restoration in 2016, including going thru the drivetrain and a original paint correction and cleanup. This car is an incredible time capsule, one that’s powered by its original 136 ci flathead V8- touted at 60hp. This powerhouse was paired with its original 3-speed manual transmission and runs and drives like the day it rolled off the factory line. The maintenance performed within the last few years include replacement of the gas tank and fuel pump in 2016, both water pumps, and the radiator, more recently the original 6 volt generator was rebuilt and a new battery added. This Ford coupes’ paint was professionally corrected in single stage black as part of its restoration, and featured polishing the accompanying bright work for the front and rear bumpers, door handles, side view mirrors, and fuel cap. The front bumper was originally fitted with the Ford factory grille guard. The body has a working split and vented windshield, curved fenders with integrated running boards, and a two-piece rear window, along with dual exhaust outlets exiting below the rear bumper. Factory color-matched steel wheels with V8-branded hubcaps are wrapped in wide-whitewall tires.The interior is fitted with a tan cloth split bench seat with a matching headliner and door panels, and a contrasting black rubber floor pad.
