Up for auction is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 powered by a date-code-correct 396-cu.in. OHV V-8 engine along with a Muncie M-21 four-speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly!
As previous owner told me, it was dyno-tested at 434 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.The car starts without smoke, with a functional choke, and it was cosmetically restored with correct accessories and fasteners, but the intake manifold is a later, higher-flow piece.This Chevelle was treated to a rotisserie restoration under prior ownership with the original 48-code Forest Green along with the classic white SS stripes.Suspension and brakes were restored to stock specifications and are in excellent condition, with less than 600 miles.
This beauty has a clean title under my ownership and is ready for it's new owner!
