1960 Envoy Specialthe Canadian Vauxhall VictorThis is surely a one-of-a-kind car.The Envoy name was first used in the Canadian market for a version of the Vauxhall Victor F Series. It was sold through Chevrolet and Oldsmobile dealerships at the same time as the Vauxhall version was being sold though Pontiac and Buick dealers.Introduced in 1959, the Envoy models differed from the Vauxhalls in terms of trim and equipment.
It is an original 17,439 mile, unrestored survivor in nearly new condition. I am the 3rd owner and have the history available. The car comes with some spare parts and several rare printed items such as sales brochures and newspaper adverts. It is a "three on the tree" standard transmission, 4 cylinder vintage car. A real nostalgia trip for us Baby Boomers! The car starts, runs and drives perfectly. The chrome, glass and interior are nearly flawless. There is no rust or damage. The original upholstery has no rips or signs of wear. It even has the original "Break-in Procedure" sticker on the windshield! It needs nothing.
Start it up, pull it out of the garage, cruise around and laugh at the amount of attention it gets.
