This 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special is in excellent condition both inside and out. It appears to be a highly original survivor, showing only 69,000 miles, which are believed to be original. According to the previous owner, it has been in his family its entire life, with him acting as the car's caretaker for the past 22 years. These Fleetwood 60 Specials are very desirable and hard to find, with their value escalating each year due to their rarity. Especially finding one in such nice condition that has never been restored is remarkable. There's nothing like driving a well-preserved vintage Cadillac-they truly drive like a dream.
It's finished in factory Olympic White with a white vinyl top and, although it has had some touch-ups over the years, still presents very well. The car also appears to have all its original chrome and trim, which again shows remarkably well for what I would describe as a nice survivor Cadillac. The black cloth and white leather interior is also in excellent condition and appears to be mostly original throughout. This car has clearly been very well taken care of and stored properly. All the chrome and trim inside, including a nice dashboard pad and flawless steering wheel, are in very nice condition. To top it off, almost everything in the car works, including a wonderful-sounding original AM radio!
Mechanically, this car runs and drives beautifully, cruising down the road as if on a cloud. It's also very nicely equipped with factory options, including air conditioning. Cars like this, in such survivor-type conditions, are rare finds indeed. It even has a full set of its original Eldorado hubcaps, which alone are worth thousands. Beautiful exterior finish in its original Olympic White, touched up over the years, shining wonderfully with a few minor imperfections that are hardly noticeable.The body is super straight with excellent fit & finish.Completely rust-free, as it was very well stored.Nice, all-original chrome & brightwork throughout, showing some patina in a few spots but overall looks great.A true survivor, showing only 69k original miles.Mechanically excellent with a completely original drivetrain.Under the hood is completely original and all correct.All original glass and weather stripping still in good shape.Inside the trunk has been completely redone to new, still retains its correct spare and jack.Most everything is in working order on the car, except for the clock and power seat.The A/C needs servicing.
