Engine # 38. The only known Victor that is still running. In 1907 Victor made there own bodies as well as their Chassis. However Before they had there own Chassis they purchased a few From The Speed Changing Pulley Company out of Indiana. Speed changing Pulley also supplied chassis to a number of Auto manufacturers. This is the only running chassis from them we can find. This car was previously from the Richard Roy Estate In branchville New Jersey. We have known history since 1915 along with the New York Registration from 1915. Receipts dating back to 1915 also. Car was restored in 1966 and shown atHersheyin 1967. That was its last public appearance. Car isequippedwith 2 cylinder 15 hp air cooled engine. 2 speed trans with reverse. Rack andpinion steering. 3 ring binder full of documentation. Engine runs strong and does not smoke.The following items have been done since Jan 1st 2016. Oiler has been rebuilt, ransmission oil changed, ew clutch linings installed, ear differential has been draine, ears cleaned and new oil installed, rakes have been relined and adjusted, ll grease fittings on chassis have been cleaned out and chassis fully lubricated, ack and pinion steering inspected and greased, heel bearings cleaned inspected and greased, ear axle keys inspected and like new, ew rubber on all tires,( from previous restoration) wheel spokes in excellent condition. New Battery,Fuel Tank Cleaned and lined, ew fuel lines and filter added. Carb rebuilt, eather cleaned and conditioned. All brass and paint polished. Carpet is new, ll wiring replaced and coils tested like new. Items needing attention are- 1 cowl light has some cracking in brass easy fix. Outer steel rings on wheels have some pitting, rass trim on front of hood is dented and needs replacing. Leather is dry but good condition. Paint is good but not concourse. Car starts easily, uns excellent, ll wood in body is solid.
