1972 MG MGB 1972 MGB ROADSTER

OVERALL
This MGB is in excellent condition overall.The color is known as Bronze Yellow and is even more vivid in person.The car is mechanically and cosmetically in beautiful condition.It has the desirable chrome bumpers and wire wheels.It also has a clean and clear Tennessee title.Over $7000 have been put into this car in the last few months.There is a breakdown of the new parts below (however it is not comprehensive) and receipts will be provided to the winning bidder, most items are from Moss Motors and Northwest Imports.
I was the owner/ operator of a successful restoration shop. I built this car as a retirement project. It was a two owner, garage kept MGB when I purchased it. It still had the original paint (lots of chips and faded beyond what a buffing could save). The body and interior have been overhauled and the drivetrain serviced as necessary. The car is showing approximately 99,000 miles. The gentleman I purchased from had owned the car since 1991 and he had purchased the car new. The mileage is believed accurate.

DRIVETRAIN
The engine starts immediately with no pumping of the gas and the choke only needs to be used if very cold.The compression is excellent.All seals have been replaced and the SU carbs have been rebuilt.The carburetors were rebuilt and a complete tune-up performed in the last month.The cooling system has been flushed.
The transmission shifts without complaint.The clutch engages smoothly and quietly.The clutch slave cylinder, hose, and clutch master cylinder have all been replaced.
The rear axle has no excessive play in the ring and pinion or the driveshaft.The fluid has been changed.
BRAKES
The brakes operate smoothly with no shuttering or squealing upon application.The pads and shoes have plenty of life and the rotors and drums are within tolerances.The brake fluid has been flushed.
PAINT AND BODY
The paint is in excellent condition. There are no dings or chips and no cracking. There are no signs of rust and the body is solid.It is a single stage urethane paint mixed to the original paint code. The car will come with matching touch up paint and the mix ratiosThe car has ALL new seals. Trunk, hood, doors, windshield, windshield frame, soft top to windshield, taillight, headlight, etc...The soft top was just installed and has a zip out rear window.The windshield is new as well, it had a small crack that was spreading.

INTERIOR
The dash is in great condition.The carpet is new.Three point harnesses were installed.The seats have been reupholstered.The door panels and all other panels have been replaced. The map pocket was restored.The steering wheel, shift knob, and boot were replaced.The trunk has a new carpet kit.
