The MG is in excellent mechanical condition and always starts easily with the upgraded down draft double barrel Weber carburetor. Engine runs strong. Cooling system with dual electric fans in good operating condition with no issues. Brakes work as they should, included brake cable needs to be installed, Electrics are in good working order. Transmission/clutch work fine. It does have factory overdrive, however it is not functioning. Exhaust system in good condition as well. Will need new front shocks. Has all new fuel system and all new clutch hydraulics.Engine compartment is very tidy and presents nicely.
Newer parts installed:1. Weber carburetor with intake manifold and air filter.2. Aftermarket header.3. Clutch Master Cylinder and Copper hydraulic line.4. Slave cylinder with hose.5. Gas tank, fuel lines and electric fuel pump.6. Alternator.7. Tires, and powder coatedRims.8. New chrome sill covers.9. Brake cable included-needs to be installed.10. Windshield glass.11. Audiovox stereo Cassette player and speakers.
The interior is in beautiful condition as detailed in the pictures. The new carpets and seat covers were installed approximately 12 years ago and shows virtually no wear. Door panels are in excellent condition. Convertible top is in good condition with a few minor tears. Also includes a full tonneau cover.
The body is in excellent condition as shown in the pictures. It received a repaint approximately 12 years ago. The paint finish is excellent and always gets compliments. It does have a rust bubble on the driver's front fender as detailed in the pictures. The body has no dents or body damage. Driver's side door does have the typical MG stress crack near the mirror. Underside is in good condition with no issues. The car really looks stunning and always gets compliments and thumbs up!
