1979 MG MGBUp for auction is my wifes very nice 1979 MGB. The car has well over $7,000 spent on her in the last 3000 miles and ready to be driven and enjoyed. Car has zero rust / rust repairs and no accidents. She also has the ultra rare air conditioning option so she's not your run of the mill MGB. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is a NO Reserve auction so high bidder takes her home. Air Conditioning: As you can see from the interior photos she sports the ultra rare air conditioning option. All interior parts are in place. Have the A/C compressor, idle arm and bracket boxed up in the trunk. A/C compressor and idle arm spin freely. Don't know what it will take to reinstate the system but it looks pretty straight forward to me. Have documentation where and when it was removed from the car. Mechanical's:The car runs and drives great and she is ready for the open road. Starts right up with no smoke or noises. Work just completed included the following: Complete tune with New spark plugs, New distributor cap, New rotor button, oil change, new oil filter, new air filter, New heater control valve, New heater core hose and a new battery installed. Recent new radiator and new electric radiator auxiliary fan so no issues with over heating when stuck in city traffic . Also the carburetor was just balanced / tuned correctly and the car has great throttle response. She car shifts up / down and through all the gears with no issues or noises. The rear end is strong and makes no noises. The car handles great and sits on 4 matching like new radial tires. Other documented / Invoices ( totaling $6,109 in invoices ) in the last 3k miles include: Rebuilt carburetor, Complete new exhaust system ( whisper quite exhaust note ), new alternator, new fan belt, new distributor, new coil, new rear main seal, new oil pan gasket, new oil line, new water pump, new radiator, new coolant hoses, new coolant, new auxiliary radiator electric fan, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new rear brake pads, new rear brake wheel cylinders, new brake hoses, new front brake pads and a few other items. Don't find many with this much documented work just completed.
