1980 MG MGB Limited Edition

1980 MBG LE has Overdrive and Air Conditioning that works well. The car had a new engine 8500 miles ago with a dual sprocket timing chain, I have included the leak down test photos I did today which shows it is in perfect condition. The interior has been completely renewed including seat covers and seat belts. I have posted a photo of the rust free floors before the carpet was installed.
The HIF4 carbs were rebuilt as well as the brakes and rear differential. The SU fuel pump is a new electronic type so no contacts to wear out. The bushes have been changed to poly. The Overdrive gearbox and clutch work flawlessly
This LE is stock and correct with the original wheels and front valance plus original LE plate on the glove compartment.
The Roof is in perfect condition and the car is always garaged and never out in the rain,The paint was done before I purchased the car and it was a cheap job with the old paint left underneath, The finish is OK but there are areas that do not look great close up so I do think it could do with a strip and respray but it does still look pretty nice, however there are a couple of dents in the drivers front fender which need to be repaired, I am not a bodywork person by any means so I do not know as much about it as I do the mechanicals. The price does reflect the cost of a respray. The previous owner did renew the complete rocker assembly, they look very good. There was also a small repair patch put in the front of the drivers floor, it is all very solid. As far as I can see the car appears to be pretty much rust free.
The rear lights have been changed to LED which are really bright and a 3rd brake stop light is fitted. At the front the headlights have a relay so are bright and there are 2 led running lights that turn on with the ignition, There is a brand new battery and I installed a battery cut off behind the seats with a auto reset breaker so the radio memory works but the engine will not turn over.
I have had many MG's since I was a kid and this one is really nice, I am just getting older and have a boat at a marina as well and spend more time over there so I have decided to part with the car.
