Here you found a very clean 1984 Mercedes 300CD turbo diesel coupe with only 165k miles. This car has remained with the original owner and his wife for 38 years. It has always been garaged and pampered and it shows. It comes with all the service records since new.

The body and the paint are in wonderful condition, as the many extra pictures will show. The paint still shines like on a much newer car.There are no dents to speak off and there is absolutely no rust. This classic Mercedes really stands out and i do get a lot of compliments whenever i drive it.

The interior is very nice as well. There are no rips or tears in the seats, the carpets are clean and even the original wood pieces are in great condition. All the gauges and the lights work, just like the power windows and the sunroof. The AC blows nice and cold. This car does come with an extra Nardi wood steering whee, which i installed after i took those pictures. But the original steering wheels from the pictures is also included.

But the best thing is the way it drives. As you can see by the very many service records, it has been maintained very well. The transmission was rebuilt with 151k miles and it shifts smoothly through all the gears. I just recently took it on a 1500 mile nonstop trip and it cruises comfortably at 85-90 miles while still getting 27miles per gallon of diesel. After this trip i took it to my mechanic and had him install a new brake booster, new brake lines, change the fluids and filters, adjust the valves and service the air-conditioning. He also installed new air cleaner mounts, new transmission bushings and accelerator bushings as well as a new hood release cable. It really is a pleasure to drive and you should not be disappointed.
