This is a very nice example of a 1985 Mercedes 300TD wagon. Inside & out, the overall impression is excellent- the body is solid and straight with no rust to be found. The dark blue paint still shines like new. The only flaws I can find are some small miscellaneous chips, dings, etc; The kind that you only see under close scrutiny. The bumpers, trim, chrome, etc. all look great. The palomino interior is also very clean. The seats, switches, trim, dash all look great. The only thing I could find is a spot on the drivers seat lumbar support. (see pics). Otherwise, the seats including the sought after 3rd row seats are really clean. The wood trim on the dash and around shifter are brilliant and glossy. The original carpet did not match the condition of the rest of the car, so I went ahead and replaced all of the interior carpeting, including the trunk with the correct factory "feintuft" wool. This was not cheap, but it was absolutely worth it. It makes the interior feels like a brand new car.

With only 174K miles, this wagon runs strong. It starts without hesitation, idles smooth and has plenty of power (for a diesel wagon, that is!) . The transmission shifts sure and proper. The climate control (heat & AC) both work. The mechanical condition is very tight. Some of the things that have been done in the last 12 months to bring it back to tip-top shape. Including-

- Replace Injector bypass hoses

- Fuel Filter- Primary & Secondary
