1900 Land Rover Defender HCPU

Bought this truck in it's original 2.5 NAD/LT77?RHD configuration just for this project. Completely disassembled the vehicle had the chassis sand blasted and acid etched primed. Body panels all painted individually new doors with original interior/handles. Color is correct Bonatti Gray as per the original truck built by Land Rover for the movie- in fact 3 originals were built by Land Rover. One was wrecked making the movie the second is in private collection and the third is in Land Rover's museum in Dunsfold. No expense was spared and in fact this example is built much better than the movie vehicles. Exocage tied to frame correctly for example as are the rock sliders. Custom RTE front bumper/grille guard.The truck is being finished up completing odds and ends and still needs to visit the paint shop for final touch up (all included in the sales price of course). Also any options or upgrades can be employed at extra cost should you desire.She has turned out to be quite a beast of a truck!! Automatic transmission turning large Michelin tires- go anywhere attitude!! Conversely she can be quite functional as she has a full HI Cap bed- and an open air driving experience to boot!!
