(RE LISTING) Jeep was listed last week on ebay. Jeep had 19 bids with high bidder 19,100 at end of auction. I lowered the reserve so bid to own & buy offer always welcomed. *Selling 1985 Jeep CJ7. If you're looking for a nice original type style CJ7 that is rust free, un cut and loaded with extras rear on. (This CJ was built nice) The running gear under CJ is matching number correct to what this jeep was sold with 35 years ago. The running gear has been maintained, repaired or rebuilt as needed to ensure reliability. The motor block decodes 501c31 = built 1985 on Jan1 6 cyl 4.2. *Howell TBI fuel injection was added for better power and performance over stock. Transmission is Jeep Borg Warner T5 5 speed manual. The transmission was "just rebuilt all new". New clutch and clutch parts also installed at the same time less than 100 driven miles ago. The 4 by 4 Transfer case is factory Dana 300. ID number 300-15-2 correct to what is should be. Transfer case also inspected, resealed & serviced when transmission out. Rear end is Jeep amc 20 as it should be. Front end is Dana 30 with locking hubs. Front and rear end also factory wide track style as they should be. Jeep retains it's factory gearing. (Not low speed rock crawler gearing) This is a CJ you can drive every day year round. It's very reliable and runs great. Stop straight when braking and it shifts and down shifts like new = fun CJ to drive SEE DRIVING VIDEO. All the electrical in great working order. New wiring harness under hood and new fuse box installed. The heater, wipers, horn, wiper sprayers, back up lights, power window, dash lights and all other lighting on jeep work's correct. The in dash gauges spedo, odo, Fuel, Temp, OIL, Volt and Tac all work correct. The odo / speedometer was not replaced in build. "it still worked correct" no need to replace. About everything on and in this CJ has been repaired or replaced over the past 5 years. Jeep also fitted with key chain "remote alarm system" and a nice stereo system with 4 speakers and power amp. * Jeep body metal is super straight and the paint work is of (higher quality) then Jeep painted them back in the day. This Jeep get a lot of complements on the paint color and how sanitary it is overall. No dents in this CJ . The factory A/C blows Ice cold at 35 deg. The A/C was also just serviced. I do believe as a 40 plus year classic Jeep CJ owner, builder, repair person of many CJ over the years, that this CJ is much nicer overall then most CJ driving the roadways.
