1965 Jaguar E-Type OTS

The car was initially sold at BMC Motors in Seattle to one Dixie Lee Ray, at the time director of Seattle's Pacific Science Center. Ms. Ray, later Governor Ray, and her dogs enjoyed the car until she sold it in 1971 to a Seattle man. Over the next 9 years it changed hands twice to local residents. I bought it in 2014 and put it in dry storage, thinking that one day I would tackle the restoration. But other projects beckon, and it's now going to an enthusiast or investor whom I hope will take on a full restoration in order to create, in Enzo Ferrari's opinion, the most beautiful car ever made.
Here are the particulars of the car. Miles are 67,680. Original colors are maroon with matching interior, and black top. Car number is 1E 10166, all numbers match. The carbs were just rebuilt and the engine runs with 60lbs oil pressure at warm idle.
I've removed the interior and trunk components in order to give it a more thorough inspection. It does not appear to have ever had any major collision damage. Shut lines are tight, the trunk lid lays flat.
The top mechanism is operable and rust free. The wheel hub splines and wheels are all good with no detectable wear. There is little or no rust on the wheels and they should polish up.
