Description:

1975 International Harvester Scout

This is a mostly unmolested original Scout II. '75, 345 v8, 727 trans, 4wd. This has been a daily driver for the past 10 years. It has been maintained as such. Ignition upgraded to Davis DUI electronic ignition. Champion aluminum Rad. EGR and smog delete, only vacuum lines are timing advance and brake booster. Items replaced since after 2019 - new booster, new master cylinder, new calipers and rotors front, braided stainless soft lines front, Shocks, spring bushings, AC compressor, Radiator, Starter, PS pump. Just put a brand new drag link in a week ago.

Electrical - All Gauges work, brake lights, turn signals, marker lights, head lights all work. The PO had hacked in a bunch of trailer wiring, it has been removed and restored as best as possible. Power to DUI ignition is a switch under the dash.

Driveability - Engine runs strong, excellent throttle response, Trans completely rebuilt in 2013 (have paper work). Brakes stop on a dime. Tracks straight, does highway speed no problem. Heat and AC work (AC could probably use a charge).

Interior - New carpet and sound insulation installed, original front seats, NOS rear seat. No Radio, but the antenna is run if you add one.

Body and frame - The body has typical rust in the usual scout places, but it is pretty localized. The frame and floors are super solid. In rust prevention a lot of surface rust was wire wheeled off and treated with rust inhibitor. On the one side I cut out the rust and patched with aluminum diamond plate. The patches are non destructive, it's just pop riveted on. Pop it off and patch with steel if you wish. Drivers door got folded back a little bit at one point. Wire wheeled the exposed metal, and hit it with clear coat to keep from rusting. Door hinges were replaced, door closes tight, locks etc.

Engine runs strong, no issues. Stays cool, runs all day long. Weeps oil from the valve covers, and is a what you would expect of a vintage engine that is driven a lot. No major oil leaks or coolant leaks (certainly weeps here and there).
Additional parts - Second grill in better shape than this one, ultimately decided it wasn't worth the pain to replace. Spare set of valve covers, spare vent windows for parts, various hoses, fittings, and parts all come with it.

I have tried to be straightforward with pictures, they are a good representation of what you are getting. Ebay only allows 24 pics, so If there is something specific you would like to see let me know. Please feel free to ask questions.
