1934 International Harvester C-1

You are bidding on a 1934 International Harvester C-1 half ton pickup truck in great shape.Although not a "concourse" restoration, this truck runs, drives, and is a low mileage rock solid example of a C Series pickup.Origiinal 6-cylinder motor,3-speed manual transmission & drivetrain! Here are the details:

I bought this truck last fall from a gentleman that bought the truck from the family of the original owner. This truck spent its life on a North Carolina farm from new,and as a result has extremely low mileage, with a solid frame, body & running gear.Since I obtained it,I did the following:Changed the motor oil & filter, changed the spark plugs, anddialed inthe carb, which was purchased new by the previous owner.I also put a K&N air filter on it,but have the original air cleaner which goes with it.Truck fires right up with the choke on when cold, and right up without it when warmed up.Truck runs cool, with no signs of overheating.Really a smooth inline six cylinder motor.Previous owner put a new battery in it,along with new plug wires, and an electric fuel pump.

All gauges work,as do the lights.I installed a pair of "Stop" style taillights, but do have the original left hand taillight.Interior is in really nice shape.Wood plank floor is in great shape with no issues.Seat was probably reupholstered at some point,as there are no rips or tears.I had the metal floortrim plates around the shifter, starter button, and battery access panels powdercoated.Windshiedl has a crack in it but is stable(see pics),and the rear window & door windows are in great shape with no issues.

Mechanical brakes are all intact & adjusted, and work fine for mechanical brakes. All grease fitting points are either working or have been replaced, and greased. The underneath of this truck is rock solid, with no rust, rot or repairs.Amazing for its age(see pics).Wheels & hubcaps are original, and the tires are Lucas with tons of tread & no dry rot.Truck steers fine, and tracks straight & true down the road.Three speed transmission works great, and the clutch works as it should.

Obviously the truck was repainted at some point, and its an amateur paint job.I'd call it a "15 footer".Whats great is the boddy is in great shape, with minimal dents & dings, but all body panels are straight with great fitment.Inner wood frames on the doors & cab are also rock solid with no rot or issues.Th ebed & tailgate are also in great shape & solid.

I have a clear title signed off by the original owner's family, that has not been transferred yet.Currently insured for $20,000 in my name through Condon & Skelly.I also have a bin of extra parts that go with the truck,as well as an extra door. Also included is an interior headliner/cab kit which I purchased, but haven't installed yet.

Overall,a pretty rare truck,in really rock solid condition which is hard to find these days from this era.Either use it as a Sunday driver,or a good basis for a restoration.I like it as it is,as it has a really cool "patina" going for it.Offered at a fair "Buy It Now" price,or feel free to shoot me over a serious offer.
