RARE! PRE-WAR 1937 International Harvester D Series Pickup Truck model D-15-130WP, Chassis number D-15-2599 up for auction. This is a pre-war 37 International, all steel truck that has been modified to sit on an S-10 chassis. Rear fenders widened 2 inches to accept 15" wide rear tires and lowered to the ground. It has no running boards but other than that all the original steel for this truck is here. No reproduction or fiberglass parts. It is a home built project and not a professional build other than the drive-train. It is not perfect but in good shape for being over 80 years old. The floor has been redone as well as the transmission tunnel. It is heavily modified from the original and has taken a lot of work to get this project together. The Truck:37 International Harvester with antique sun visor, roll out Front window and cowl, built with raked front grillHave the original steel hood that comes with it but chose not to build it with it.S-10 FrameLowered correctlyS10 Rear EndS10 Brake system and PedalNew brakes all around including calipers, rotors, pads, lines, hoses etcNew Drive LineNew Nitto P325 50/15's on rearUsed Hoosier 12 inch tires on frontNew old stock window regulatorsOriginal Front V Shaped window frame(New glass available on eBay)Original Headlights and Bezels(one has a bullet hole in it)New Haneline GaugesNew removable steering wheelNew Gas Tank1960's metal cooler holding a New BatteryNew wiring(No headlights or tail light wiring)Fresh small block Chevy 350 Four Bolt Main Engine, Heads done and Comp CamRan with break-in oil as required. What you see is what you get. This is a nice truck. Not a rat rod and not a classic collectable just something in between. It runs like a beast, shifts good and rides like a new truck. It has been modified and has had some patches and only in black primer. If I was going to drive it daily or to shows I would run a smaller tire in the front instead on the large balloon tires that are on it. It has a small leak on the power steering pump line and still needs some metal work to install door poppers and around the bottom of the doors. Truck sells with the original VIN plate and a bill of sale only, as Kentucky did not title vehicles in 1937. Other than that I have described it to the best of my ability. I will post more pictures on 4shared. Here is a link to the truck running. Copy and paste it into your browser.https://www.4shared.com/folder/NKgQOKkw/_online.htmlAll in all this is a solid old truck with modern components. You could take it in either direction you want to go with it. Only reason for selling is I am downsizing. If you have any questions you can message me and I'll do my best to help. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. Will not be responsible for a shipping costs. I'll help anyway that I am able but if you ship it you should use someone that can accommodate a very low vehicle. I reserve the right to end the auction early so bid away. Thanks for looking.
