Here is a very nice 1972 GMC Jimmy that will make someone a darn nice truck to show off and enjoy. This truck has had countless thousands and thousands of dollars invested into it. I will try to describe this truck the best I can to give you potential bidders and owners a good idea as to what you are looking at here.I'll start with the body. The Jimmy has brand new rocker boxes, inner rocker panels, outer rocker panels, all professionally installed. The body has been repainted from the center of the lower moldings down. Everything looks very good and fits as good as factory or better. The doors, fenders, cargo area, all are solid with no rust issues ever. All lower trim, tailgate banner, bumpers, grille, most all lights, are all brand new. Lots of time has been spent to get the proper fit of these parts. It's a darn sharp truck. The tires are brand new 33x12.50x15's on original rally wheels, with near mint original trim rings and center caps. The engine is a 350 thats been rebuilt and runs like a new one. Everything on the motor has been rebuilt or replaced including the fuel pump, alternator, all hoses, belts, carb, manifolds have been plained and painted, plugs, wires, distributor, on and on. The truck has a brand new radiator, new fan shroud, full new aluminized exhaust all the way to the back. The turbo mufflers sound nice. The fuel tank and sending unit are brand new, there is a new rebuilt steering box and lines on the truck, of course things like the battery, battery cables, all of that is new. Countless countless parts.The interior has brand new ACC molded carpet front to back with original carpet strips, new dash pad, original door panels and arm rests, the seats have just had over $1,600 worth of all new foam and upholstery installed by a local upholstery shop. They are beyond gorgeous. The frames were cleaned and painted first and the seat backs are all powder coated. All seat mounts and sliders are cleaned and painted. The radio hole is uncut with the original AM radio in place. No speaker holes have been cut anywhere. Original SPID is in place. The top is in awesome shape, it is clean and basically crack free. The hatch is way above average, there might be a few small hair line cracks in the gel coat but nothing worth mentioning. All hardeware and mounts are in place and work. All glass is good, The windshield is brand new, wipers are new, ignition switch is new, all bulbs throughout the truck are new. Fluids are all new, Door weatherstrips are new, motor mounts are new, on and on and on. You get the point. Everything done to this truck has maybe 20 test miles. This old girl runs down the road as nice as it did the day it was made. You can take your hands off the wheel at 60mph and it goes straight as an arrow. It fires rite up and runs fabulous. If you've been looking for one of these thats basically all done but don't want to spend $30k or more, this might be your truck.
