1968 FORD MUSTANG COUPE

The Pros: Recent restoration (less than four years). The paint looks like a cross between Acapulco and Brittany Blue, that shines bright and is accented with black stripes on hood and trunk. New black vinyl top. The truck is custom finished (see pic). The inside is redone with blue/white custom deluxe pony vinyl interior, (check out backs of seats!) bucket seats, and new floor shifter. We are waiting on a Marti Report for the car (comes with purchase). VIN indicates everything correct about the vehicle (year, factory, style, & motor), with exception to motor( shows it was originally a 289 v8).It is equipped with a NOM 302 V8 that has less than 3,000 miles(according to the past owner that built the vehicle). Odometer shows a little over 10000 miles, we don't know if that is original. She is matted to a C-4 3 Speed automatic transmission. She was a daily driver and was recently driven 160 highway miles to our office by past owner with drive fromNacogdoches, Texas ?the oldest town in Texas? to our offices in Houston, Texas. It rests comfortably on a set of aftermarket torque thrust wheels with a newer set of radial tires. Additional options: AM/FM Radio, Power Disc Brakes, Air conditioning, Power Steering, Seat Belts. Additionally, we replaced the rear axle pinion seal and sleeve (had a leak), replaced power steering hoes at hydraulic ram, flushed power steering system, we replaced the value covers and gaskets. We put new horns and horn button assembly. Replaced wire harness to the turn signals in hood, bulb and flasher relay as well. Replaced the power brake pedal pad. We installed new shifter assembly. Replaced strut rod bushings. Removed a/c evaporator assembly, disassembled to remove heater core, Flushed heater core, pressure tested-good. Recharged a/c system and checked operation-good.

The Cons: A little bubble (penny or smaller size) in paint on lower-driver door and some little bubbles (head of pin size) in the clear on the trunk. Unfortunately, started to rain when we were shooting part of the pictures.
