The vehicle was previously restored ~4 years ago according to one of the previous owners. I did not restore the vehicle. I'll do my best to describe the vehicle and any issues. Please come take a look at it if possible. If not hopefully the pictures will give you some insight.
The following was done at the time of restoration ~4 years ago. Frame off restoration w/ rebuilt 327CI motor ~3,033mi exempt due to age, holly carb, weiland mid rise intake. Auto GM power glide trans, hurst protech ratchet shifter. The entire car has been rewired and upgraded to a 12V system. The body and frame were completely disassembled. The headlights and tail lights were frenched. The door handles, trunk handle, plate mount and gas door have been shaved. The filler neck is located in the trunk. All new floors and pans, gas tank, baby moon rims, lake pipes and stainless exhaust with cherry bomb mufflers. The interior has been redone, seats, headliner, carpets, door cards. The dash has been painted to match the exterior. Dolphin gauges depicting the current mileage on the rebuilt motor. Turn signals and emergency flashers were added.
Suspension set up appears to be original, struts/shocks appear to have been replaced. Firestone white walls, have good tread depth. I dont see any major rust on the vehicle. There are some rust spots on and arround certain bolts/hardware, nooks and crannies. I ran a magnet over most of the vehicle and it stuck everywhere I placed it. On close inspection there are several scratches, touch ups, hairline cracks in the paint. There are some touch ups on the rear bumper.
Windshield glass, rear glass, front left and right glass windows appear in good shape, no cracks or chips. The windows roll up and down without issue, door handles work. The 2 rear side windows are lexan.
I drove this vehicle from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts 240 miles driving 65mph+. The only issue I had was the hood unlatching on the highway, causing a dent in the roof. The hood is no longer present. Brakes, motor and trans performed well. Vehicle starts right up.
I would say the vehicle needs some minor rewiring. Radio turns on but there is no sound, dangling wires from speaker in trunk, front left tweeter missing. Windshield wipers work. Horn does not work, 3 dangling wires by horn. Fuel guage is not accurate. Purple neon lights right side is missing, front and rear do not turn on, left side works. Factory air does not seem to turn on. Head lights, turn signals, flashers, highbeams all work. Spot lights are not functional. Valve cover gasket leak. Oil and transmission fluids are at proper level. The 2 front chrome grill pieces are wrapped in chrome film. There are some disconnected wires throughout the vehicle. Crack by left headlight. Interior has some wavy spots, door panels, rear speaker shelf. Paint chip on each fender from hood.
Vehicle is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. There is no guarantee as to the accuracy of the description of this vehicle. I am doing my best to describe it as I see it. Sold with a salvage PA title. This may require a simple vehicle inspection depending on your state.
