Description:

1970 Ford F-100 Custom

For sale: 1970 Ford F-100 Custom survivor. Straight, solid, original truck with 89,500 miles. This truck is my daily driver. It starts on the first crank every time and drives great. It spent most of its life as an Oklahoma farm truck and has surface rust in the bed as a result. The cab is rust free and there is no significant rust on the frame or underbody.

Exterior: Original Yucatan Gold paint with a great patina. I have been told by multiple people that I should not paint the truck. There is oxidation and paint corrosion under the gas tank filler due to 50 years of gas overflow, but it is only paint damage, not rust. All trim is original, but the mirrors are new from LCM. There are a couple of dings in the sheet metal as shown in the photos.

Interior: 90% original with some new trim, reupholstered seat and new headliner. All gauges and accessories work except for the horn and the radio has no speaker and is not hooked up. Door weather stripping is new and all glass is in good shape except for a chip in the windshield. The original dash is rough but is covered with a fitted cover from National Parts Depot. This is just a really clean, simple interior.

Mechanical: Original 302 engine and 3-speed automatic transmission are strong. Has a slight oil drip. Carb has been rebuilt, and there are several new parts including radiator, water pump, alternator, gas tank, shocks and tires. The truck does not have power steering or power brakes.

Truck is good to go for daily use, or ready to be restored, whichever you prefer. NADA book value on this truck is $15,000. A $500.00 deposit is due withing 24 hours of bid closing, and balance is due by cashiers check or cash in person within 7 days.
