1953 Ford F250 F100 Flathead V8 Barn Find Patina NO RESERVE
1953 Ford Other Pickups
1953 Ford F250 Pickup Truck. All original and solid barn find truck. Original Flathead V8. A very good candidate for a full restoration. Selling withNo Reserveto the highest bidder. It has a very solid rust free body. The floorboards are exceptionally good with no rust through as are the fenders. There is rust in the passengers side cab corner and lower part of the passengers side door but this is all. All paint is original so there has been absolutely zero bodywork done to this truck and there is no bondo in it. The drivers door is not the original one and I am unsure as to why and whoever fitted it did not align the hinges particularly well so it will need adjusting as it is difficult to close. The tailgate and emblems are all present and in good shape. It has had a grain shoot cut into the tailgate as with many prairie farm trucks of this era suggesting that a hoist was likely fitted to the bed of this truck at some point in time. The drivers side bed side has a crack midway down the side which will need welding. Overall this is a very good solidexample of a 1953 Ford pickup truck.
The interior is complete and ingood condition for its age. The dashboard is very nice.
Mechanically this truck is a very good place to start being complete less the radiator. I am unsure why the radiator is missing but it is not with the truck. It rolls and steers freely and all tires hold air.
This will make a great project and is a far nicer starting point than many of the barn finds that we sell due to being all original and practically complete with very minimal rust issues. Seldom do we find 53-56 Ford pickup trucks in such solid and complete shape. Bid with confidence and feel free to message with any questions. Selling withNo Reserveto the highest bidder.
